It is one of the most impressive, classic mansions in Limassol, still standing just as majestic and proud as 1 century ago, despite the obvious damages. The inherited house of the daughter of one of the richest men in Cyprus, the trader Michalis Gavrielides (Chatzigavriles), may not be the house it used to be in the beginning of the 20th century, but it is indeed one of the most popular spots in the city.
Even though it remained out of use for several years, the mansion of Krystallia Pavlides was revived in 2016, when the nearby Library Bar chose its yard for its spring and summer version. The need for an open-air venue, breezy and relaxing, the admiration for the impressive building and its elegant yard, were the main reasons for its transformation into a new project. The white-stone decorations, the balcony of the entrance, the artistic, metal fence and the green trees all around, became the setting of the afternoons and evenings out in the city of Limassol, for dining and drinks, from April to October.
The Gin Garden has created a special menu with cocktails based on gin. Gin n Tonic menu includes 70 different labels of gin. The menu also includes tasty dishes, offered until 11:30 pm. Thus, from 5 pm to 1 am, the place turns into an amazing destination for relaxing and enjoying imaginative cocktails and good food, in a downtempo atmosphere with music that suits the idyllic setting of this historical spot in Limassol, on the corner of Themidos and Ifigeneias Streets.
