The gulf of Pissouri is located on the southern edge of the village, approximately 37 kilometers west of Limassol, and it stretches out for a distance of around 2 kilometers. It is a long coast with colorful pebbles, as well as fine sand in certain areas.

The water is suitable both for swimming and water sports. It is a relatively safe coast, though it does get quite deep rather quickly, and is overseen by lifeguard services. It usually has waves of medium height, which makes it ideal for surfing and other activities in the water. West of the gulf, there are restaurants and kiosks, as well as umbrella and sunbed rental services. The public also has access to shower facilities, and there is a passageway for people with mobility difficulties. A recent addition is the outdoor gym, located just above the walkway that runs across the beach.

The Pissouri gulf has many different offerings, and is recommended for people who like organized beaches as well as those seeking something more serene and isolated, for those who like action, or those who prefer relaxation. At the eastern and western end of the gulf there are high-rise cliffs that create smaller coves with natural beauty. One can reach them by crossing over the rocks. These coves are the preferred area for nudist bathers.

On the western end of the beach, the luxurious, 5-star Columbia Beach Resort has created an exotic setting, with tall palm trees framing the coast.
