In the picturesque village of Kyperounta, the Museum of Rural and Traditional Life is located, which aspires to preserve tradition and agricultural heritage.
The museum is found in a restored house, with 3 rooms on the ground floor and 3 more rooms on the upper floor, including exhibits from the past rural life of Cypriots.
On the Museum’s ground floor, there is a display with wild embalmed animals, reptiles and birds of the cypriot ecosystem (fox, fine, hawk, etc.).
The remaining rooms host items of the residents’ daily lives, such as old household items, clothing and agricultural tools.
