At the western end of Avdimou bay, at a distance of less than 4 km from the village and just 20 minutes from the city of Limassol, one will come across a small and quiet bay, which has become a beloved refreshing and calm refuge. Families, groups of friends, and lovers of good food, all of whom wish to escape from their daily routine and rejuvenate themselves among nature, will certainly do well to select this beach for their outing.

This small bay, surrounded by high, white cliffs and wild vegetation, is framed by a makeshift dock on its west side upon which a few fishing boats are tethered, and an abandoned mosque on its east side (Avdimou was a mostly Turkish Cypriot village before 1974). The shore is laid out with sand and pebbles. There is a tavern overlooking the beach, which is a popular spot for traditional, Cypriot cuisine as well as for fresh fish and seafood, and also offers a cool veranda shaded by a large tree, making it ideal for cooling down on hot summer days.

Upon taking the exit to Avdimou from the Limassol - Paphos motorway, you will cross through a valley to get to the beach. This agricultural area is crossed by a river, the estuaries of which meet in the sea. There are 2 abandoned buildings in the area, which make up part of the history of the village (the mosque and the old, stone-built warehouse, where produce that had been unloaded from the small dock at Avdimou bay was kept).

The beach changes its image depending on the season, with its fields turning a golden hue under the summer sun, or flooded in green and wild floewrs during the spring.

Many choose to spend the entire day on the beach, in order to enjoy their favorite activities to the maximum, as well as to catch a glimpse of the unique beauty of the coast at sunset. The facilities of the restaurant and the sunbeds and umbrellas available on the beach allow everyone to enjoy a full-day trip by the sea.
