The closest beach to Limassol’s historic centre is a relatively small beach in Limassol Marina, quiet and safe for all ages.

Peninsula Beach is the artificial beach that was created in 2015, upgrading an area that until then, was deemed unsafe for people to visit. The relatively shallow waters, which, after continuous testing have proven to be of excellent quality for swimming, as well as the comfortable seating areas and the nearby parking facilities, make this a convenient option for anyone, and for families in particular.

The Gazebo Mare Beach Bar, a modern venue which offers chilled drinks, light meals and excellent options for lunch or dinner. The cozy seating area, the relaxing sunbeds on the grass, as well as the luxurious gazebos, complement a setting that guarantees ultimate relaxation.
