Kouka is one of the smallest villages in the Limassol mountain region. It is particularly interesting due to the natural beauty of its location, as well as the rare, medieval church located there, which is shaped like a perfect cross.

In 2018, yet another reason to visit this quiet village made its appearance directly across from the church. Kouka Tavern is a warm little tavern, decorated with images depicting scenes from life in Cyprus during the previous century.

It is a welcoming, well-thought out space, dominated by wood and stone elements and a fireplace that stays lit during the winter months. It serves 100% Cypriot cuisine, and offers the choice of a combination of meze dishes or an individual portion. The tavern’s specialty is the stew, which is infused with unique aromas.

Dinner is accompanied by live music events on Saturday evenings.
