Kellaki Viewpoint

* NOTE: All the tributes of All About Limassol (as the Official Guide of Limassol) aim to ONLY highlight the special aspects of this wonderful city, so that everyone can be aware of the unique Experiences it offers. At a half hour’s distance east of the city of Limassol, up towards the semi-mountainous villages of the countryside, one will come across a spot that offers what is perhaps the most impressive panoramic view all the way to the sea.

The Sinoa viewpoint is located just a few meters before the village of Kellaki. The area itself is unique in its beauty, but this spot alone is reason enough to visit it. The project was completed in 2003, and has since become a beloved stop for all countryside travelers.

The paved space is situated on a hill, which allows for a panoramic, 360 degree view. From there, one can make out the impressive monastery of Panagia Glossa and the neighboring villages, such as Sanida, the quarry, as well as the impressive mountain ranges of the area. Featuring wooden fencing, seating areas, a shelter and parking spaces, this viewpoint is a convenient stop to rest and ruminate all year round.
