Across an expanse of 100 acres of land west of the city, on the Kalevounari hill in Polemidia, stands a beautiful picnic site with modern facilities and a unique, panoramic view of all of Limassol.
It is one of the largest green lungs of Limassol. During its formation, more than 10,000 trees were planted so as to create a beautiful natural sanctuary, just a few minutes from the city center. There are wooden tables and gazebos, viewpoints and a playground, as well as washrooms and a parking area.
A cobblestone path allows visitors to make their way around the park and explore it in its entirety. Beyond the natural beauty, one can also admire the sculptures that have been scattered across the park, under the framework of the International Sculpture Symposium, featuring artists from Cyprus and abroad.
