On Saturday, May 6th 2017, the LCCI museum of old machinery, which was named after the former President of the Chamber, who was head of the Board for numerous consecutive years, the late Kyriacos Hamboullas, officially opens its doors.
The museum, whose implementation followed after a decision of the Board of the LCCI, showcases several old machinery, which have been kindly donated to the Chamber for the needs of the museum from member - companies, as well as from organizations such as CYTA, EAC, Limassol Municipality and the Water Board of Limassol.
In the surrounding areas, selected photos of Limassol’s past decades are exhibited, aiming to create an area, as the LCCI wanted it, which will honor the economic activities of Limassol’s past. The opening of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry Museum "Kyriakos Hamboullas", housed in the ground floor of the LCCI’s building, will be inaugurated by the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades.
