Just a short distance from the traditional centre of Germasogeia, next to the stream of the Amathos River, a beautiful park has been created, complete with food and drink facilities, as well as a beautiful and spacious playground.
Protected by the greenery of the eucalyptus trees that cover most of the area, Hunters' Park is a place for daily strolls due to its close proximity to residential areas, as well as picnic excursions on public holidays and religious days of celebration. Wooden tables, some of which are covered by pavilions, playground toys with modern safety standards, and the café that operates there are just what a family or group of friends need to enjoy their day.
The cobblestoned plaza surrounding the refreshment bar is an area that is also ideal for hosting events, which are regularly accommodated on the site, especially during festive occasions. The sports fields located right next to the park, as well as the large parking lot, provide even more options for using the space. The lighting fixtures placed in various parts of the park allow visitors to stay there even after sunset.
‘Hunters’ Park’ took its name from the donation made by the Germasogeia Hunting Association for its creation, in memory of its member, Savva Savva.
