In the village of Platanisteia in Limassol, Hambis Printmaking Museum is located, which was founded by Hambis himself, renovating the traditional buildings of the village with his own hands.
He also took care of all the exhibits of the museum, which were either pieces of his collection, or donations from fellow artists or other collectors.
The visitors of the museum have the opportunity to get to know the historical course of printmaking, its techniques and materials, through the rich collection found in the Museum. More than 150 prints of all techniques and methods of foreign and Cypriot artists are on display, from the 16th century until today.
The Museum is a center where a printmaking school has been created, in memory of the Greek printmaker and teacher of Hambis, A.Tassos, where various artistic events also take place.
