On the western end of Dasoudi Park, in the coastal area of Agios Athanasios, there is a beach that is known for its intense, year-round activity, as it is also the home of the Famagusta Nautical Club.
The beach features a sandy shore and seabed. In the building of the Nautical Club there is also a bar-restaurant that serves food and drinks with a view of the sea. The beach has sunbeds for visitor use, as well as an area for playing beach volleyball.
NOA Wake School, which specializes in board watersports (surfing, wakeboarding, and wake surfing) offers courses for anyone interested, and also rents out equipment.
