Dog Park (Western Limassol)

* NOTE: All the tributes of All About Limassol (as the Official Guide of Limassol) aim to ONLY highlight the special aspects of this wonderful city, so that everyone can be aware of the unique Experiences it offers. The first recreational Dog Park in the Limassol Municipality was created across an area of 8,000 sq.m. in the Zakaki area, offering a quality space for pets’ daily outings.

The park is fenced and operates according the standards and regulations of the Veterinary Services. The space is controlled and open to visitors daily except Thursdays, from 9am to 5pm during November – April, and 9am to 7pm during May – October.

The park is divided into 3 spaces: a space with toys for dogs on a leash, an open space for dogs on a leash, and an open space for dogs with one owner for free movement off leash.

Dog escorts must be above the age of 15 and must clean up after their pets. They must also present their dogs’ vaccination booklet, as well as their dog license, as entry is not permitted to sick dogs. Entry is also prohibited for dogs of an aggressive nature, such as Pit Bulls, American Pit Bulls, Japanese Tosca, Dogo Argentino and Fila Brazileiro, for puppies under the age of 4 months, and dogs that are in heat. Additionally, the use of glass feeding materials is forbidden.
