Winter has arrived in Limassol in the sweetest, most festive way, bringing with it an amazing Chocolate Weekend on December 1st and 2nd at the Limassol Old Port. A new and very promising brand, Columbia Confectionery, is presenting its Christmas range to the public for the first time, and guarantees a delightful experience for both adults and children.
At the event venue by the Old Port square, a fully equipped chocolate workshop will be operating under the instructions of Columbia Confectionery's chefs. In a festively decorated environment, with chocolate fountains and Christmas – themed sculptures, children will have the opportunity to participate in chocolate – making activities, decorate their own ginger house and play chocolate games.
There will also be a kiosk with the Christmas range of the Columbia Confectionery creations, for anyone to purchase what they wish to have for the season. In the middle of the square, beneath the large Christmas tree, children can visit Santa’s Cottage, write their names on Santa’s list and have fun at the arts and crafts workshops.
The actress Marileni Stavrou will be reading stories to the children (Saturday 1/12 at 7:30 pm and Sunday 2/12 at 6:00 pm.). All the weekend activities will be in support of the Karaiskakion Foundation. Find out more information here.
