* NOTE: All the tributes of All About Limassol (as the Official Guide of Limassol) aim to ONLY highlight the special advantages of this wonderful city, so that everyone can be aware of the unique Experiences it offers. Under no circumstances do they have any promotional or nominal value, nor do they serve the interests of Companies, Municipalities, Organizations or Individuals.

A walking path that appears to be taken straight out of a fairytale, with its paved pathway and enticing color palette, it is located east from where the ancient city of Amathus onced thrived. Today, a new settlement is making its mark in the area, enjoying the same unique views of the blue.

This pathway takes you from the east to the west, and from the present to the past, whispering exciting tales to you with every step. On one side, you see beautiful homes with gardens and balconies, and on the other, the endless blue of the sea. As you make your way across this short distance, just under 1km, you enjoy a captivating 'color palette' that soothes you.

The path is adorned with flowering jasmine, green shrubbery, as well as white and fuchsia bougainvilleas. Silence dominates this tranquil area, and all you can hear are the rustling of the leaves, the soft chirping of the birds, and the roar of the sea on days when the waters are rough. This beautiful route is proof that these hills were not chosen at random during ancient times.

A stroll on the walking path is certainly refreshing, especially if you choose to experience the sunset and sunrise. On its eastern end, you will find the cave of Santa Barbara and the ruins of the old monastery.
