A short, paved pedestrian path, just a few meters from the ancient city of Amathus, is now considered one of the most beautiful spots to enjoy a peaceful stroll with breathtaking views of the blue sea.

The path takes you from west to east and from the present to the past, whispering wonderful stories with every step. Apart from the surrounding archaeological monuments, the path is adorned with jasmine, lush green shrubs, and white and fuchsia bougainvillea, creating an almost fairytale-like setting.

The sights that accompany you along this route are evidence that this location was not chosen by chance in antiquity.

Beyond the archaeological site of Amathus to the west, the cave of Saint Barbara and the ruins of the old monastery lie to the east of the walkway.
