* NOTE: All the tributes of All About Limassol (as the Official Guide of Limassol) aim to ONLY highlight the special advantages of this wonderful city, so that everyone can be aware of the unique Experiences it offers. Under no circumstances do they have any promotional or nominal value, nor do they serve the interests of Companies, Municipalities, Organizations or Individuals.

Trozena was a mountainous village, on the border of Limassol and Paphos, which has been without life for many years. Today, among the derelict homes, the only preserved element that stands out among the ruins is the small church of Agios Georgios (Saint George).

Ecclesiastically, Trozena belongs to the Diocese of Paphos (as do other villages west of the Limassol countryside), and the church, which dates back to 1885, is still in operation,

The residents of nearby villages still visit the church and take care of it, and honor it with celebratory ceremonies on 23 April and 3 November.
