The center of Kyperounda village, the largest mountain village in Cyprus, is the place where people, residents or visitors, will end up to have a coffee, a bite or even a drink, along with music. One of the options that respond to these needs is Kyperia tavern, which, apart from the traditional, dining area of the restaurant, it also has its own, special bar.

It is a family restaurant, which one can feel from the very first moment upon their entrance in the traditional, stone-built, 2-storey building, which has been decorated with all the elements that remind of the everyday lives of the people in the village. Fresh materials with rich flavor, fragrant wine, tasty meze (among which a specialty of pork fillets with commandaria sauce) make this tavern a favorite one for many.

The same building also hosts its own bar, in a separate venue that communicates with the restaurant area. With tall, wooden tables, special lighting and decorations and a fully functioning bar, this place is a special option for the young people in the village, as well as for those who choose Kyperounda to spend their holidays in the summer or in the winter. Thus, even at 1400 above sea level, there are still nightlife options.

The spacious parking area right outside the tavern is certainly another reason for one to make a stop there, in a small distance from the square and other shops or sights in the village.
