A new idea was presented recently which aims to change the image of the Limassol city center, bringing to life a slice of history. A group of young city residents imagined utilizing an old mansion in town as accommodation for guests who wish to enjoy an atmosphere that is reminiscent of old times.

This old residence in the area of the Agia Triada church features characteristic balconies with ornate railings, double wooden doors, large windows, high-ceilinged rooms and an inner courtyard, all of which are typical of mansions from that time. All have been designed to be restored in such a way as to create a beautiful boutique hotel, with 12 cozy rooms. Indeed, this particular mansion is just the beginning, as the team who has undertaken this initiative aims to proceed with other similar projects.

The coziness of its size, the picturesque old city streets, and the grandeur of the old building are all elements that will ensure guests enjoy comfort, proximity to Limassol’s most central spots, as well as ultimate peace and tranquility. The opportunity to utilize this as well as other such abandoned buildings that are part of the history of Limassol is the motivation behind this project that is the brainchild of 2 siblings, Andria and Stylianos, and architect Giannos Anastasiou.
