Da Vinci: A piece of the city's history has become a popular destination for Limassolians!

* NOTE: All the tributes of All About Limassol (as the Official Guide of Limassol) aim to ONLY highlight the special advantages of this wonderful city, so that everyone can be aware of the unique Experiences it offers. For many years now, the historic pedestrian street of Genethliou Mitella, which has been a part of Limassol’s journey right from the start of its existence, has become a destination for strolls, coffee breaks, drinks, and entertainment for all hours of the day. One of its main points of attraction is Da Vinci Café Bar, which has recently opened its rooftop to the public.

The rooftop of the old, stone building has been set up in such a way as to create a beautiful destination for summer evenings with unique views. Comfortable seating and an illuminated bar welcomes regulars who frequently visit this hangout, as well as new visitors who are charmed by the idea of enjoying a drink while enjoying a view of the old town from above.

Da Vinci has incorporated a piece of the city’s history into its space, as it is one  of oldest buildings in the area which still retains its ancient, wooden doors that were built on behalf of a lord, with wood that was brought in from Constantinople. This sense of history that permeates the area is even more evident from the rooftop, where one can see the tiled roofs of the old buildings, the Agia Napa bell tower, and the minaret from the neighboring mosque.
