Beach volleyball is one of the most popular sports for anyone who loves the sun and the sea in Limassol. Both amateur and professional athletes find plenty of opportunities in the city to practice it.
Facilities exist all along the coastal front of Limassol, on Dasoudi beach, near the Famagusta Nautical Club, as well as at the Poseidonia and St Raphael hotels, in Agios Tychonas and Parekklisa respectively.
There is a variety of academies and sports clubs for those who wish to become more seriously involved with the sport, and tournaments and championships are organized every summer.
