A poor poet and recovering alcoholic, Paul Peplow, is hired by a former marxist and millionaire, Victor Quinn, as a copy writer for his startup business online. The young, Danish wife of Victor, Elsa, has just come out of the hell of alcohol and drugs. Victor is playing a peculiar game to get out of his marriage.
