World Trade Center Cyprus in collaboration with Delfi Partners & Co. organized a 1-day conference under the brand “Cyprus Business Hub”. High caliber professionals from financial institutions, Funds and investors, developers and international and local professional services firms participated at the conference themed “Let’s Talk Real Estate” on the 22nd March 2017 at the Amathus Hotel.

The conference focused on the fact that the economy in Cyprus is at a critical turning point following the events of the previous years, and the need to capitalize on its geolocation, its European membership status and the favorable business environment to attract long-term and sustainable investments. During the conference, 2017 was highlighted as the start of a major shift in the economic environment, while it was stretched that and decision will be of key importance to all stakeholders affected by the Cypriot investment market in various sectors of the economy.

The aim of the conference was to stimulate interest in the investment potential of Cyprus’ real estate and explore the country’s investment opportunities, especially in the presence of delegates from the Middle East, North Africa and beyond. Among the keynote speakers were George Mountis (Managing Partner of Delfi Partners & Co.), Petros Sivitanides (Head of Real Estate Department at the Neapolis University, Pafos), Christos Mavrellis (Partner of Chrysses Demetriades & Co. LLC), Demetra Kalogirou (President of Cysec) and Maarten Vermeulen (Managing Director of FRICS).
