Where to go and what to do in Limassol: The city that enjoys both tattoo culture and religious feeling...

Limassol is approaching to the weekend of the International Tattoo Convention, while at the same time the spring has arrived for good after the time changed and the Easter is just 2 weeks away. Thus, the city that never stops moving, is suddenly found between rock vibes and events of religious feeling.

Apart from the live performances on the weekend of the Tattoo Convention at Lanitis Carob Mill with Minus One, The Boots and Atoutaleme, the city is filled with loud music, from rock bands to be found on stage at The Station Bar, to the favorite tunes of Costas Macedon in Perama, and the countless hits by Michalis Chatzigiannis at Ola Ellinika. Interesting alternative music entertainment suggestions arrive from Greece, such as the set of Echonomist, but also the performance of Giannis Chatzopoulos, the man with dozens of different voices.

On the other hand, the solemn atmosphere of the days approaching to the Easter celebrations, is felt in the performances "Hymns angels in human rhythms" and "Opera Mater". In the same spirit, a Byzantine Iconography exhibition opens, too, while a different art exhibition entitled "Allegories" is hosted Beat Pazar. Theater options are not missing from the city, with a particularly interesting one, entitled "Upper depth" with 3 short stories by Alexandros Papadiamantis.

For those who prefer open spaces, organized groups for biking are getting ready both in the city and on the countryside, the campaign "Let's do it Cyprus" rolls everyone’s sleeves up at the villages of the province, while for the party animals, a party in the city center treats everyone with meat on the spit.
