What to see and what to do in Limassol: From Greek entertainment to Irish traditions in the menu!

The weather has “punished” us quite enough the past few days and the conditions have been mostly defused. So with 1 sunny weekend on the way and beautiful spring days around it, Limassol is preparing to live great moments.

Highlight of these days is the Limassol Marathon, which this year grew more innovate than ever and covers many more interests, beyond running and sports. On Friday 17/3 the leading Greek marathon runner talks at the CUT about his experience of countless races in which he has been involved, including the one in the terrorist attack in Munich. On 18/3, the day is full of events from early in the morning with corporate races until late in the afternoon with the Energy Day and the Sponsor's Village at the Old Port. On 19/3 the races start at 7, while later the big party with Guaba at the Old Port begins.

Vasilis Karras, Chryspa, Christos Holidis, Kostas Hatzis, Spyros Grammenos and George Stamataris are the names that will appear in Limassol’s stages. At the same time some celebrate the Irish “Saint of the Beer”, St Patrick. The Limassol venues offer, as always, plenty of entertainment from local and international Djs. The theaters make references to art figures, such as Van Gogh or Embeirikos, while the city's galleries offer many different options with art exhibitions of all kinds. And you are asked to put the worries aside and enjoy the wealth of the spring time in this city.

Check out all the events at the All About Limassol agenda.
