The Aegean Airways flights to European destinations will be accompanied by a promotional video filmed this past summer in Kilani village in Limassol and the facilities of Vlassides winery.

With a series of touring videos the airline, in coordination with the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, decided to raise Cyprus as a travel destination for its passengers. These 2 videos, in which 1 English-speaking and 1 French-speaking blogger respectively are starring, have already been showing on flights to European destinations, aiming to promote the wine-making tradition of Cyprus and the idyllic countryside of Limassol.

The owner of the winery, Sophocles Vlassides, guided the actors on site, showing the steps of wine-making from local grape varieties. The video especially focuses on exclusive Cypriot varieties emphasizing on xynisteri, giannoudi and the production of Commandaria.

"There is considerable interest in anything that has to do with the roads of wine, so it is important to make such presentations of Limassol", Sophocles Vlassides said.
