Even though the city of Limassol dawned under the sunlight, the harsh weather in the mountains has not retrieved. So, while some dive at the beach, enjoy the sunshine strolling at the seafront and take photos with the bright blue as a background, in Platres, the images reveal an opposite scene.
The latest video from the bridge of Milia in Platres is a proof that Limassol can host very contradicting conditions and images from its one edge to the other. Hail falls loud and noisy and the image of the raged nature is definitely awe inspiring. At the same time, the landscape with fallen leaves from the trees and the stream flowing as the beads of hail fall into the water, has a different kind of mystique.
The medieval bridge of Milia, built with stones and surrounded by ivy and tall trees, is located at a distance of about 2 km from Platres. You can take the downhill path that starts from the sports center in Platres and leads to it to get there. The road up there requires some strong people to cross it, but it is definitely worth it.
