It's not like the cold is over, or that there was no rain and hail falling by the gallon over our heads. But when you can drink your morning coffee outside in the fresh air, under the rays of the sun, facing such a view, truth be told, you're lucky. We may grumble as much as we feel like - it is an element of our Mediterranean temperament, after all - but let us admit at the end of the day that it is a privilege to be in the place where we are.
The sun came out bright and immediately changed the scenery in Limassol. From the pictures one can hardly suspect that it is winter time, although the temperature remained at relatively low levels. While Europe suffers from the freeze, however, some are right to envy the luxury of the bright sunlight.
Those who were at the Limassol beach these sunny hours captured a bright blue sea glowing under the light and made the entire internet long for walks in the sun. White landscape and a fireplace in the mountains, blue horizon and tables in the sun on the coast. This is the Limassol and those living in it, certainly do know that thousands of others would like to be in their place.
