After the appearance of the almond trees, it was the turn of the yellow flowers which are known as ‘Lapsanes’ or ‘Sinapi’ to bloom hesitantly and fill in the prairies.

With the General Hospital of Limassol as a background, these mischievous flowers sunbathe proudly creating 1 landscape full of oppositions, which does not go unnoticed by the passersby. The strictness in which the hospital building stands, comes in total contrast with the yellow prairie which announces in a hopeful way the arrival of better and more carefree days.

These spring landscapes will begin slowly to fill in all the naked prairies all around the city, with the winter cycle closing for 1 more time and welcoming triumphantly the queen Spring. Notable it is the fact that the specific flowers made their appearance at the same time with the Carnival celebrations, leaving people with the question if nature wishes to pass a message.
