The architect Chrysanthos Chrysanthos, in a flashback to his professional career, presents in the Cultural Centre of the City of Athens, the works that left their imprint on the architectural landscape of Cyprus.
Within the 14th lecture cycle, the Greek Institute of Architecture hosts the lecture by Chrysanthos Chrysanthos, entitled "Imprints". Among the important projects presented, is the remodeling of the Old Port of Limassol, for which the architect received the National Architectural Prize in 2016. These are mainly large-scale projects, which were the result of architectural competitions, or had been designed after assignments.
Most of these projects are important landmarks and play a role – small as it may be – in the development of the Cypriot cities. Recognized as such is also the Old Port of Limassol, which has contributed to the overall configuration of the coastal front of the city. Other such projects by Chrysanthos Chrysanthos are the Remodeling of Kennedy Square and the Commercial Center of Paphos and the design of new buildings on the Campus of the University of Cyprus at Athalassa in Nicosia.
