With a beautiful ceremony, fitting the season's spirit, the Limassol Library, at the end of Agiou Andreou street, in the city center, will be dressed with lights, just before its official reopening.
The impressive building, known as Pilavakis Mansion, after around 1 decade of being close, will now receive the public once again, as a Municipal University Library in Limassol, after the implementation of the extensive works taking place for its restoration. Turning on the Christmas lights will lead the way to the opening, that will be scheduled in the doming weeks.
There will be a simple and beautiful ceremony taking place on the occasion of the lighting, for which the Limassol Municipality invites everyone at the garden of the mansion on Friday 22 December at 6:30 pm. With the building and the trees all lit up, there will be carols performed by the choir ''Modern Times'', under the instructions of Nicos Vichas, to close the event.
