We have all seen the remarkable transformation of the Old Port in Limassol over the past year. Tonight however, this change will be officialized as the inauguration ceremony, that will be executed by the President Mr Nikos Anastasiades, is finally going to take place at 6pm.

The inauguration program is expected to have a variety of artistic performances, according to sources. The first guests that are scheduled to appear will be the artistic group “Texni Dihos Sinora” and the percussion group “Batulkinio”. Other musicians who will participate will be the famous Kantadoroi, the municipal band “Filarmoniki”. In addition there will also be a few surprises.

After the official ceremony, performances will be held by the Cultural Dance Company “Dionysos”, the music band “Antama”, and the children’s choir from “Diastasis”.

The peak of the night will be the appearance of the famous Cypriot singer Michalis Hatziyiannis.
