One of the largest events that connect and strengthen the relations between Cyprus and Russia, was successfully held in the weekend between the 10th – 11th of June. The Cyprus-Russian Festival, which has more than 10 years of operation, welcomed more than 12,000 visitors to the Limassol Municipal Garden.
Trampolines, roller coasters and bubble games were some of the games that attracted the interest of both adults and children, who flooded the open spaces of the Municipal Garden. Spectacular dance shows by children and adult dancers took place, as well. Art and hand crafts were exhibited in various kiosks at the Festival, while several Cypriot companies exhibited their products.
Hovig, this year's Eurovision representative of Cyprus, and the Greek band Vegas, presented live a loud music program, and brought to the visitors and to this year's festival, a unique energy.
The present and former President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiades and Dimitris Christofias, the Mayor of Limassol, Nikos Nikolaidis, the Russian Ambassador to Cyprus, Stanislav Osaka and other diplomats attended the event.
