Pinballs and arcades from the 80s - 90s are still in use at the old Limassol! Do you remember them?

If you're among those... slightly older children, you will definitely remember them. Those who grew up somewhere around the 80s and 90s must have been until once in their life in an arcade and pinball joint, they must at least have slept 1 coin to operate the small red lever and the buttons on the huge console.

If the sound of flipper makes you nostalgic, if the memory of a nervous hit (that of a success or a failure) on the bright, colorful table with the glass window in which the metal ball moves around, is still alive, then you can only be moved with this image. Obviously, some older children were never able to quit with these habits, so they made sure to find the place that will allow them to spin a few decades back every so often.

The retro scenery is set in the old town of Limassol, in a gallery in the picturesque Eleftherias Street, in the cafe "Fanos Thyellis". That is the space hosting those games with which many groups have spent beautiful moments of their childhood, adolescence and youth. And, after all, no matter how many modern devices and means we have in our disposal, such a taste of the old is something we will always wish to have back.
