The Oval, the highest commercial building in Cyprus, with the oval shaped shell and the unique design has reached its final image. The largest part of the building’s property has been sold and it is about to be delivered to its owners in about 1 month.
The implementation of the construction has been delayed for a few months, but in this phase its oval, metal shell is finally complete. There are still some work left on the front, lower levels, as well as the ground floor, where the workers are gearing up, according to the architect, Yiannis Armeftis.
As the architect explained, the team of designers has been following closely from the field, step by step, because the uniqueness of the building in the entire Cyprus, which has been planned on a detailed, 3D design, and they had to keep up with every little piece of development on the construction work, due to the different size of floors, that result to the oval shape. As Yiannis Armeftis stressed, the materials are all suitable for fire safety on the building, while the material of the shell was picked in order to eliminate reflection of light and heat.
The development will be complemented with a landscaped parking lot and green areas on the ground floor.
