PHOTOS: The Municipal Arts Center becomes part of Limassol's new large development!

The New Municipal Arts Center, which is about to be inaugurated by the Limassol Municipality at Agiou Andreou Street area, is expected to be the first step towards upgrading the entire area, for which there are still many plans to be realized in the coming years. After all, the center will become an organic part of the new large development The Gallery, by 2021, with which the building complex of the restored former Papadakis Warehouses will be communicating.

The Gallery has been designed in a way that, the stone built construction of the warehouses has its own mark in the open air square of the development. Thus, the visitors of this particular area will enjoy a view to the restored building, either sitting in some of the restaurants and cafés of the ground floor, or moving inside the unique, glass construction in the middle of the development, which will also serve as an arts exhibition area.

After all, The Gallery (by Askanis Group) took its name after this exact exhibition area, aiming to underline its central role in the developments and the goal for emphasizing in cultural activities in the entire area. On the other hand, the square also serves as an option for drinks and dining, for those visiting the Arts Center, as well as an extra option for those visiting the development.
