Prioritizing destinations with traffic throughout the year, including Athens and London, the new Cypriot airline, Orion Airways, is preparing to start its flights towards and from Cyprus. According to what the head of the company, Thanasis Kokkotas, as mentioned in an interview, later on, routes towards and from central Europe and the Middle East will be scheduled.
The new Cypriot airline is a breath away from ensuring the commercial license from the Civil Aviation Department. The arrival of the company's first air craft in Cyprus is expected on January 16th. The aim is to create a fleet of 5 Boeing 737- 800 type air crafts by the end of 2017, to fully meet the needs.
The company intends to provide passengers with a comprehensive package of services, for which charges are applicable by other companies, in order to make the experience enjoyable flight. "We believe that we will raise the service level in the aviation sector, providing them at very good prices," said among others in his interview Thanasis Kokkotas.
