In the city of wine and fun it is very easy to feel part of a large company among people. There is no better opportunity to do that than the evening of New Year's Eve. The whole city is invited in Aneksartisias Street, the central street of the city, outside at Grigori Afxentiou Square, under the decorated tree to welcome the new year. Fighting the cold with wine, dancing and laughter, attendees will shout out the countdown to 2017.
From 11:00 in the evening "Cherchez la femme" with Greek folk and rebetiko repertoire will take us to a colorful, musical trip to other eras, calling us to dance to purely Greek beats. The wine will be offered free of charge to help both the festive mood, as well as the winter's cold. With the city mayor's signal, the countdown will start at the last seconds of 2016 to the change of the year.
2017 will arrive with fireworks that will illuminate the sky of Limassol. After 12 am the party will continue with dance music from the decks of the dj. The city will continue to celebrate in a big company to welcome the new year with the best mood, as it really fits Limassol.
