Limassol is ''the heart of the party'' city with scientific proof!

It is no state secret that anyone who finds themselves in Limassol will have the time of their lives. But those evedence, narratives and historical records to prove it beyond any doubt are still an open secret that the locals share only in their discussions with each other.

The 12th Scientific Symposium on Oral History themed "Limassol: A city that is the  “heartof the party" brings up all those memories carried by the Limassolians that present fun and entertainment as key components of the city's history.

The 3 days devoted to the presentation of the material are certainly not enough. Limassol is the city of fun and evidence is going back to many decades past. Nightclubs, taverns, balls and even fashion and songs of each era are the experiences by which so many people grew up and learned to love this city with passion.

The city still holds today the most vibrant and diverse nightlife, as well as many options for entertainment suitable for all times and all ages. The Symposium is the minimum tribute to habits, places, roads and particularly people behind and within them who continue to inspire to those acquainted with Limassol its “heart of the party” vibe.
