Limassol holds the antidote for Blue Monday depression!

The third Monday in January is considered the most depressing Monday of the year. The holidays have passed, the routine has returned irrevocably and the next holiday is still too far away. These are the characteristics of this current season, which results to theories about the blue (melancholic) Monday.

In Limassol you have no reason to be depressed. The town is lively and full of activity every day and time of the year, so turn your back to the theories of depression and start counting reasons and ways to spend a wonderful winter Monday.

1. The day has become significantly longer. In fact, the sun disappears almost half an hour later than 1 month ago. This means that you have time to enjoy the blue of the city longer or to go up to Lady's Mile from where you can see one of the most beautiful sunsets in Cyprus.

2. Best things begin in Limassol just after the light of day is gone. From Limassol Marina and Saripolou Square to Amathus, from the Old Port and the Castle Square to Dasoudi and from Enaerios area to the Zig Zag street dozens of cafes and restaurants for all tastes and budgets wait for you. Whether you prefer something more bohemian and relaxed, or if you like luxury and leisure, it is difficult not to find the ideal place for this evening.

3. Rialto Theatre in Heroon Square presents each month a wealth of events, which means that every day there is something interesting to cover your artistic sensibilities.

4. A drink will conclude the day in the best way. Choose what you prefer: urban scene from the city center (Heroon Square, Aneksartisias street, Saripolou Square) or sea (Old Harbour, Marina Limassol, beach hotels)?

If your appetite is intrigued and you do not have time to go out today, there is nothing to get mad about. Limassol remains just as welcoming, diverse and lively every single day of the week!
