A renowned organization from abroad has expressed interest in investing at the development of the Technology Park in Pentakomo. This resulted after the expiry of the deadline for the submission of interest to the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry on January 20^th. According to media sources, the proposal has been submitted by a Thai investor with  a long experience in the construction of Technology Park facilities.

This development sends a positive message for the promotion of the project in Pentakomo, through which major prospects in the research, development and innovation will open up. The proposal submitted by a particular investor seems to favor the earliest possible completion of all necessary procedures so that the substantial phase of the project to begin in the immediate future.

After a delay of several years, the project seems to be coming in a smooth path, to forward its implementation. According to the submitted proposal, the land in Pentakomo will be leased for a period of 50 years. The plan will also include the construction of hotels and research facilities. Being a research and innovation center, the Technology Park is expected to employ a significant number of scholars from various fields.
