Rapidly progressing renovations take place at St Raphael Resort and Marina, which seeks to expand and upgrade its services with luxurious additions, but also enrich the variety of spaces offered to visitors. The work should be completed in the spring of 2017, before the beginning of the summer season.

A most luxurious addition will be the introduction of 2 presidential suites of 78 squared meter each, on the east and west of the sixth floor, which will be hosting 1 king size bed in front of 1 projector tv screen, with the bedroom area integrated to the bath and shower area with a free standing bath. Both Presidential Suites will be able to connect with a marina view room, turning into luxurious 2-bedroom suites. These rooms are actually a prototype for future work planned for the hotel later on this year.

The main lobby of the hotel has been redesigned into a modern, cozy area, filled with live music from a 18th century grand piano. The Panorama Hall and the Captain’s terrace with over 400 squared meter of glorious wooden decking and a new concept restaurant focusing in genuine Cypriot cuisine are among the main goals of this extensive renovations.

According to the managing director, Farah Shammas, the company invests the amount of €1.5 million for a plan that was a dream of her grandfather, Shukri Hanna Shammas. The aim is to enhance the presence of the hotel and the services provided during the new tourist season. She also looks forward, indeed, a good winter season, with guests coming for business purposes or sports.
