Cyprus is famous for the sunshine that we enjoy for more than 300 days a year. In the heart of winter, however, clouds, rain, snow have the lead roles in this scenery. Especially this year's winter has reserved many storms, heavy snowfall and low temperatures for the island.

In the aerial video prepared by Manos Botrini, clouds show how quickly they can change the weather conditions in this season. Within minutes, the blue sky above the ski resort of Troodos is obscured. The storm rushed fiercely into the area and changed the scenery abruptly, to follow the norm of the season.

The picture, as shown in the aerial shooting, is even more impressive and awe inspiring. In the backdrop one can see the skiers coming down the slope without being intimidated by the change coming from above. Besides, Cyprus is used to such abrupt changes in the weather this season. As for skiers and excursionists in Troodos, they have an excellent opportunity to experience from up close the power of these phenomena and to harmonize with nature. The video, however, gives us a completely different perspective of the winter in Cyprus, which we can enjoy without being exposed to the rough weather.
