Limassol sea front will host the starting point for all the racing cars that will be participating in Cyprus Rally 2016. Proceedings will begin on Friday morning, October 7, with the reconnaissance runs but also the qualifying for the start positions outside Nicosia.
On the afternoon of the same day, the Limassol beachfront will host at 18:30 the Ceremonial Start with the cars leaving the ramp and heading straight towards the action since the first two stages of this year's rally will be night stages!
On their arrival in Nicosia the cars will park, and start on Saturday morning on 7 more special stages. On Sunday, the rally will have four more special stages.
Following that, the crews will then head back again to Molos in Limassol where the Ceremonial Finish will bring this three-day battle to an end at 15:00.
Due to Cyprus Rally start and finish ceremonies in Limassol, the Old Port parking area will remain closed on Friday from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
