Cyprus Airways had a makeover and returns bearing... olive branch!

Τhe new Cyprus Airways appears ready to start flying after adopting a completely new image. A photo leaked online shows 1 aircraft that the company is expected to use for flights.

The Airbus aircraft bears the new company logo, which is far from the blue-yellow mouflon that circulated for decades on the erstwhile semi-governmental aviation company in Cyprus. The new picture remains closely related to the Mediterranean environment of the country, using shades of green and olive branches.

The right to use the name “Cyprus Airways” was granted through an agreement in July 2016 to the Russian interest aviation company, Charlie Airlines, a subsidiary of S7 registered in Cyprus.

It has been mentioned that within the company's priorities is to begin flights with 2 Airbus aircrafts by the end of the year.
