Charis Alexiou sings her autobiography on Rialto's stage

One of the greatest voices of the Greek music scene, Charis Alexiou, is getting up on the stage this time as an actor playing... herself. In a different kind of show, the great singer exposes her personal experiences and emotions through stories and songs. The "Manuscript" is a show composed of moments of her life that she recorded in order to present them to the people.

After a moving reception from the audience and the critics in Athens, Charis Alexiou selects the Rialto Theater to present this original material through a musical performance directed by George Nanouris.

Images, memories, words that have not been said, moments of life, letters kept carefully, notes, dreams, past lives, love, smiles, concerts, traveling, men, songs, the father, the redemption, the desires, the must, the sweetness, laughter, memory, the soil, the joy, the body, the soul, the mind, the voice, all with the stamp of the seductive voice.

Alone on stage, sometimes talking, sometimes singing, with laughter and tears alternating during the show, the singer's confession will move one deeply. In company with a cello, a piano, an accordion and a guitar, the great singer catches the thread from her childhood until today and reveals how little Chariklia from Thebes became Charoula all Greece.

The show will be up on Rialto's stage on Monday, 16/01/17. More information about the show can be found in the agenda of All About Limassol.
