The Cyprus – Russian Festival, one of the largest cultural events in Limassol and Cyprus, too, keeps on for the twelfth year to surprise us with impressive performances and original ideas. This year, the institution hosts a new idea, presenting the lady bike parade.

The parade, which is organized by the Limassol Tourism Board in collaboration with Etalon Etiquette Club, Nextbike Cyprus and the BikeStore Cy, takes place on the second day of the festival.This event promotes cycling and demonstrates that any lady on a bicycle can still be an elegant resident of the city, while choosing alternative transportation.

Any woman or girl who decorates her bicycle in accordance with the declared flower theme can participate in the parade. Nextbike Cyprus will also provide bicycles decorated with flowers on the day. The 7 km bicycle route will start a t the Municipal Garden, heading to Dasoudi beach.The age of participants is unlimited, but girls under the age of 12 must be accompanied by adults. Participation is free of charge.

All of the events of the Cyprus – Russian Festival are free, starting on Saturday, 10/6, with the performance by Hovig and Greek group Vegas at its peak, on Sunday evening. Find more information here.
