Plenty of different weather phenomena will make their appearance in the next few days, making the meteorologist Eric Kitas predict that all of the year’s seasons will pass over us, in just 1 week. From sunny days, the asphyxiating atmosphere of the dust storm, to the storms and maybe even snow in the mountains, the changes are expected to be numerous.
The week has kicked off, of course, with bright sunshine, and temperature near 23 degrees. On Tuesday, the weather is also sunny, apart from the mountains, where local clouds will be present in the afternoon, while there will be small temperature decrease. Clouds and dust will start to gather on Wednesday, since Cyprus is affected by warm air masses starting from Africa and covering the eastern Mediterranean. Thus, the temperature will go up again.
The dust will remain until the weekend, resulting to some muddy water drops falling from the sky, while the weekend is expected with rain showers. Indeed, the highest peaks of Troodos may even see some snow falling on Saturday night and on Sunday. So, after a sharp rise in temperature, the weather will starting cooling off again on the weekend.
