Mount Olympus Observation Point (Troodos)

On the way towards Prodromos from Troodos Square, the Forestry Department has created a unique observation deck at an altitude of 1,952 metres. This spot allows visitors to enjoy the majestic views of the Troodos slopes, all the way to the bay of Morphou.

The observation point comprises a wooden deck that juts out above the valley below. The glass railing gives the impression that it is floating entirely on air. Binoculars have been placed near the edge, to allow visitors to enjoy a detailed view all the way to the sea.

The landscape is equally spectacular during all seasons, whether it is covered by a blanket of snow, or by dense greenery.

This spot is also a stop on one of the circular cycle routes within the Troodos National Park, as well as for those hiking the nature trails.
