Honoring the traditional spirit of Cyprus, Zivana, the Zivana Festival is organized for 2 days full of fun, at the picturesque village of Pelendri.

A rich program will accompany the Festival, which will include live traditional music and Cypriot dances and local delicacies to taste along with the drink honored in this event. A tour around the village churches will also take place during the festival.

The established representation of zivana distillation will take place too, from the arrival of grapes on a donkey, to the production of this famous, local spirit. Distillation will also take place at Tsiakkas winery, for everyone to watch and tour in its facilities. The women of the village will be making palouzes (cream of must and flour) to treat everyone with it.
