This is the 4th Friday of November, which is defined as the beginning of Christmas shopping, with shops offering "crazy" discount on the items. The institution of Black Friday began in 1932 in America and was later adopted by many countries around the world.
In Cyprus, Black Friday is celebrated for the 1st time with so many shops participating and it certainly puts a challenge before those who are determined to "fish" the best deals before Christmas.
Here is a sample list of stores in Limassol which have notified online that they will present offers for their customers on Black Friday. Offers will apply either for a single day on 25/11, or throughout the course of the weekend. From clothes, accessories, furniture and electronic appliances to food , there definitely are plenty of choices.
